01/04/20 – Coronavirus Statement
We have been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic closely as it evolves across the globe and particularly here in Australia.
We believe that at this stage it is not possible for the 2020 ALLA Conference to proceed as previously planned at the QT Hotel, Canberra on 23 – 25 September 2020.
We are actively looking at alternative dates in 2021 and we will provide further information shortly.
Thank you to everyone who responded to the call for abstracts and thank you also to the committee members who have been working so hard to deliver the Conference and to members of ALLA, and wider networks, for your patience as we navigate through these uncertain times.
We will provide further information as soon as it becomes available.
12/03/20 – Keynote speaker announced
We are pleased to advise that Stephen Gageler AC is our first keynote speaker to be announced.
12/03/20 – Coronavirus Statement
ALLA is monitoring developments related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak and potential impact on the 2020 ALLA Conference being held in Canberra from 23 – 25 September 2020.
ALLA continues to follow the recommendations from government and state guidelines, including the Department of Health.
With a relatively small number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Australia, the risk to the general public remains low. At this stage, the ALLA Conference will continue to take place as planned.
Any changes to operating status will be communicated immediately to all registered conference attendees and posted on the conference website.
